LOCATION: Windmill Lake for a Bayfield River Valley Walk
Distance 7km moderate difficulty, pathway rustic, can be muddy/wet, fallen tree obstacles.
The ridge behind Windmill Lake is about 160 feet above the Bayfield River. After walking around the lake we will follow the ridge east along the river valley as far as permissions reach, the return back along it. Deer ticks known to be present so wear trousers. There is almost no overlap with the previous day's walk.
There are some rare plant species to be seen and hopefully some of these will be in bloom, as well as evidence of the local Eastern Grey Wolves.
