Maple Syrup, A Pancake Brunch and A Sugar Bush Walk

LOCATION: Orchard Line
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this ultimate Canadian tradition! And you don’t need a canoe or hockey stick! On Saturday, March 28th, starting at the Pine Lake Campground Recreational Hall on Orchard Line, just north of Bayfield, Bayfield River Valley Trail Association “Hike Leaders” will be accompanying groups of walkers through the Schilbe maple bush to visit their shanty and see their maple syrup operation in full production.
This hike is in support of St. James Middleton Church and their annual Pancake and sausage brunch.

The cost for the brunch is $10 adults and $5 for children 12 to 6 years. Infants free.
The brunch will be offered from 8:30AM until 12:30 PM.

Hike Leaders will be on hand to accompany a group of walkers at 10 AM and another group will start at 10:30 AM. This is an easy ¾ Km walk along an old bush road. Rick and Rusty Schilbe are also offering hayrides to those who don’t wish to walk.
A great cause and a memorable Canadian tradition. A fun spring morning adventure! Join us!
